Dec. 2, 2023

Welcome to my kitchen! Today, I'll be sharing a delightful recipe for Okra Soup, a classic dish with a perfect blend of flavors. Follow along as we transform simple ingredients into a bowl of goodness that will surely tantalize your taste buds.

- 1 cup fresh okra.

- 1 pound of beef.

- 4 large red bell peppers.

- 2 large tomatoes.

- 3 hot peppers.

- 1 large onion.

- 3 cloves of garlic.

- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil.

- 1 Tbs locust beans (grounded).

- 2 teaspoon salt.

- 3 stock cubes.

- Some curry and thyme.

- 1 tablespoon liquid potash.

- 2 cups yellow garri (for eba)

1. Put the beef in a pot, add enough water to cover it. Chop and add half of the onion and garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 stock cube, some curry, and thyme. Boil until soft, then set aside with stock.

2. Chop and roughly blend the remaining onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, and hot pepper. Boil until water is gone, then fry with the oil until the oil separates and the color is darker. Add 2 cups of water, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 stock cubes, and the ground locust beans. Boil for 5 minutes before adding the chopped okra. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

3. Add 1 tablespoon of liquid potash and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

1. Boil 2 cups of water and slowly sprinkle the garri until the water is almost finished.

2. Cover and leave it for 5 minutes on low heat, then open and stir vigorously for a minute.

3. Cover again, turn off the fire, and leave it for 10 minutes.

4. Stir again, then serve with the okra. Enjoy!
