About me

Hello, I'm Hadiza Bagudu, a Nigerian author, poet, and entrepreneur. I was born and raised in Yola, Adamawa State, the daughter of a physiotherapist and an engineer.

​

After attending Capital Primary School Yola and Police Secondary School Minna, I earned a BSc. in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U) Zaria. Following my university graduation, I completed my National Youth Service Corps (N.Y.S.C) in Calabar, Cross-Rivers State.

My writing career began in 2008 when I published my first two books: The Thin Line, a novel, and With Love, a collection of poems. In 2014, my novel Fantah was released, and I followed up with my most recent novel, Melody-Greatest Hits, in 2017.

​

In addition to my writing, I am the founder of HADIZA BAGUDU ENTERPRISES, where I engage in various entrepreneurial pursuits. I hold a master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Nile University, Abuja.
